SOL Sisters
A Mountain Retreat
Summer 2024
If you identify as a woman of color who’s wanted to experience the exhilaration of mountain running, hiking, and joy in the rugged beauty of Colorado, our SOL Sisters Mountain Retreat may be just what you've been seeking.
This summer, join two prominent outdoor leaders Kriste Peoples and Lindsley Kump for a transformative mountain retreat for BIPOC women with activities ranging from hiking, trail running, yoga, meditation, and wilderness awareness.
Previously set for June 20-23, this event will be rescheduled with new dates to be announced soon! Be sure to sign up for our email list to get updates and registration information!
You’ll learn alongside other BIPOC athletes and experts who’ll show you how to stay safe in the wilderness, ease outside of your comfort zone, and create new narratives of wellness in nature! It’s no secret that spending time in nature is good for body and mind, and studies show outdoor recreation helps lower stress levels, increase mental and emotional wellbeing, and even strengthen the immune system.
Meet Your Instructors
Instructors will be facilitating workshops and creating space for all attendees.

Steph is a yoga teacher, artist and educator. After walking her own healing journey, she created Black Unicorn Collective as a space that centers wellness for Black, Indigenous People of the Global Majority after experiencing microaggressions and marginalization while seeking out spiritual healing modalities to heal, grow and transform her life. Healing is hard enough without the need to ‘heal’ from your healing. In addition to her 200 and 300 hour certifications, Steph has additional training in Meditation, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. She is a student of yoga first and is honored to share what she’s learned in hope that it will be of service to you on your own journey.
