Kate is a Boulder-based rock climber known for her endurance and big-wall speed ascents.
A former member of Yosemite Search and Rescue (YOSAR), she’s achieved notable milestones including setting a women’s speed record on The Naked Edge in Eldorado Canyon with Becca Droz, and with partner Laura Pineau, becoming the first all-female duo to complete Yosemite’s “Triple Crown” (El Capitan, Mount Watkins, and Half Dome) in under 24 hours.
Kate’s mixes grit, skill, and goofiness to inspire the climbing community and push the boundaries of what’s possible in climbing.
“Yellow Barn Farm is a historically landmarked 100-acre property helping to pioneer the Regenerative Movement. Our intention is to create a space that feels like summer camp, for all ages, all year – while taking care of the Earth, our communities, and ourselves.
For too long modern agriculture has ignored the call of the land. Now, it’s time to make amends with the land, its inhabitants, and its original stewards. By implementing circular, regenerative, closed-loop systems, we’re engaging in a reciprocal relationship with the land, offering services like composting, workshops, farm-to-tables, indigenous-led celebrations, and more.”
Our online auction features over 100 outdoor gear items and experiences.
The online auction is free and can be joined from anywhere.
This is your chance to upgrade your gear and do some holiday shopping, all while knowing that 100% of your money goes to supporting increasing access the outdoors for women, girls, and non-binary people.
Take a look at some of the incredible brands and companies that have been a part of previous auctions!
