Day Camp Description:

Discover Nature Day Camp is a weeklong adventure that makes the perfect introduction for 8-10 year old girls and non-binary youth to a lifetime of engagement with the outdoors. This program will support participants in building confidence in their abilities, community with other girls, and wonder for the natural world. During this day camp, participants will spend their days hiking, climbing, doing art projects, and playing games in the foothills of the Rockies. The program features an optional overnight camping trip from Thursday to Friday.

• Ages: 7-10 (Elementary School)
• Date: June 3rd – June 7th 2024
• Time: Drop Off – 8:30AM / Pick Up – 4:00PM
• Location: Boulder, CO
• Price: $720 – Apply here for Financial Aid
• The program features an optional overnight camping trip from Thursday to Friday (included in program fee)

Activities & Features:

• Hiking and nature-based play in Boulder, CO
• Campcraft, including tent set up, cooking, & water filtration 
• Games, arts and crafts and journaling
• Spotting and identification of local plants and animals
• Rock climbing guided by SPI-certified Rock Techs
• Awe-inspiring views of Boulder and Golden Gate Canyon State Park

CHILD CARE LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: Due to our licensing we are required to have all forms below that apply. Please make sure to make an appointment before the paperwork deadline:

• Required for ALL participants: Youth Health Form (Physical- We will provide the form)
• If participant has allergy that requires an epi-pen: Colorado Allergy and Anaphylaxis Emergency Care Plan
• If participant has asthma: Colorado Asthma Care Plan and Medication
• If participant has seizures: Seizures Emergency Care Plan and Medication Orders
• If participant has been to counselor/therapist in past 2 years: Counselor/Therapist Form

This paperwork must be turned in by the paperwork due date MAY 3, 2024 for your student to keep their spot in our youth camp. Please make sure that your physical appointment is set before that date.
