Course Description:
By popular demand, our Refresher Swim Clinic is back- AGAIN!
If your swim skills have gotten rusty, if you’ve always intended to be more comfortable in the water, or if you’ve just been too busy with life, this femme-centered and small-group is the perfect way to ease back into the water.
Designed for recreational swimmers or anyone looking to refine their freestyle and backstroke technique, kicking, and lung endurance, this clinic will help rebuild your swim fitness and confidence. The only requirement for the course is the ability to front or back float, swim any stroke for 25 meters/yards (no time limit), and not be fearful in a pool that is 5 ft deep.
We’ll start with a quick assessment of your current ability, then, over the course of four weeks, we will focus on drills to improve efficiency, breathing, and kicking—so you can make swimming a regular part of your fitness routine!
This course will be facilitated by Susan Yasuhara, a USA Triathlon and US Master Swimming coach, and joined by a staff member from Women’s Wilderness each week.
