Course Description:

Join us for an easy-going three-day adventure in Moab, Utah, where we’ll explore stunning canyons, connect with new and old friends, share delicious meals and engaging conversations, and uncover fascinating facts and stories about the night sky. We’ll cap each day by sleeping under the stars, immersed in the tranquility of the desert. Moab is nestled in the heart of Utah’s red rock country, and is a place of striking beauty that feels almost otherworldly. Towering red sandstone cliffs and canyons are sculpted by millennia of wind and water, glowing in shades of fiery orange, deep crimson, and soft pink. The rugged landscape is dotted with arches, spires, waterfalls, and natural bridges that defy gravity, creating a dramatic and mesmerizing panorama.

We will depart the Denver-metro area in the morning of Saturday, November 2 and arrive at our group campsite outside Moab in the afternoon, where we will set up camp, cook dinner, relax for the evening, and discover the wonders of the night sky. We will explore two different canyons on foot on Sunday and Monday, soaking in the serene desert silence while appreciating the rugged beauty of the landscape that captivates the soul. After our Monday morning hike, we will return to the Denver-metro area by that evening.
