FINANCIAL AID

Financial aid is core to our mission to make the wilderness accessible to all people.

We have given hundreds of thousands of dollars of financial aid since 1998 and never turned someone away because they could not pay for a course. We also offer payment plans.

ELIGIBILITY: We use the federal poverty guidelines to determine eligibility and award amount. Below you can see the breakdown.

  • Under 150% FPL: Eligible for 90% course fee waived
  • 150% – 250% FPL: Eligible for 51-89% of course fee waived
  • 250% – 350% FPL: Eligible for up to 50% of course fee waived
  • Over 350% FLP: We may reach out for additional information to confirm eligibility
