Monica’s a licensed financial advisor and friend to Women’s Wilderness who’s passionate about helping women gain more agency and acumen when it comes to making wise money moves. Your Instructors:

Monica Schmitt loves the relationships formed from being a Financial Advisor. She first started working with clients as a licensed tax preparer and found that she wanted a deeper relationship than a once a year tax return. Monica became a Financial Advisor in 2008 and has since earned the designation as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary.

Monica enjoys helping her clients navigate the world of investing and understands that investing can sometimes be an emotional process. Her goal is to be an educator and collaborative partner with each of her clients to help manage the emotions of investing, which she believes, will lead to better investment decisions. Monica believes that her role is more than just a money manager but also a counselor, confidant and quite often a problem finder and solver. She believes in understanding your entire financial picture to help be your guide on your personal path to retirement.

Monica holds her Series 7 and Series 66 Licenses through LPL Financial as well as having her Life/Health and Variable Insurance Licenses.
